Lancaster County, Pennsylvania high schools and public libraries have installed interactive electronic kiosks to help community members learn about job openings and more, according to a Lancaster Online report.

Thirty-five kiosks have been stationed at twenty-seven public and private high schools, community servicing locations and public libraries, according to the report. The kiosks are designed for both job seekers and students and offer career assessment tools, information about in-demand jobs and industries in the area, a directory of training and educational programs, a job board with open positions and the opportunity to connect to the Inspire platform to engage in career exploration opportunities.

Lancaster County Workforce Development Board partnered with the Lancaster Chamber of Commerce to develop the kiosk system.

«We are excited to launch this new initiative to help Lancaster County residents connect with the resources they need to succeed in the workforce,» Mary Byrd, the workforce board's youth programs director, told the news outlet. «The educational kiosks will provide students and job seekers with easy access to information about career pathways, training programs and job opportunities.»
